Talk fails to reconcile wolves

Editor:

In the current article (Casper Star-Tribune, Sept. 10), "Wolf manager urges understanding," the lies keep pouring from Mike Jimenez.

He has murdered many wolves, yet he down-played his responsibility in that as being a response from those who support wolves.

He tries to claim that wolf reintroduction is a success story. He fails to mention that the populations of wolves are only a fraction of their former numbers. If things were also a success, peace and harmony between wolves and humans would have been in motion as it is.

Instead of educating people, he circumvents his responsibility. He justifies his murdering of wolves over the years by saying, " ... try to imagine what it's like on the other side."

This attitude of his and this meeting was nothing short of denying his involvement and the current failure of the reintroduction of wolves.

The only way wolves can live with humans in harmony is by using non-lethal methods and predator-friendly ranching practices and the proliferation of this information.
