At Dallas on Saturday, six Cowboys with Wyoming ties advanced to the semifinal round of the ProRodeo Tour Championship, including two in bull riding.

Gillette's Bobby Welsh and former UW rider Mike Moore each scored 83s on Saturday to place among the top eight. Welsh finished second in the aggregate with 162 points on two head.

Forest Bramwell and Larry Sandvick (bareback riding), K.C. Jones (steer wrestling) and Jhett Johnson (team roping) also advanced to today's semifinals. The top four from that round advance to the championship round, which will also be held today.
