Casper Star-Tribune State Editor Chad Baldwin was selected Tuesday as the newspaper's next editor.

Baldwin will oversee all of the news content for Wyoming's statewide newspaper.

"The Star-Tribune is the pinnacle of Wyoming journalism and I'm so excited to lead a great news team," he said.

Baldwin replaces Clark Walworth, who left the Star-Tribune in April for a job as publisher/editor of The World in Coos Bay, Ore. Walworth had worked as the Star-Tribune's editor since 2004.

Baldwin had been serving as acting editor since Walworth's departure.
