MOOSE -- A 16-year-old boy was killed and six others injured when a minivan rolled over in Grand Teton National Park.

The minivan was carrying a family from Washington state and Hungary, and the accident happened around 7 p.m. Saturday just south of Moran Junction.

Park officials say the minivan swerved off the pavement for unknown reasons and the driver lost control. The minivan rolled over completely before coming to rest on its wheels.

Two passengers were ejected in the crash -- the 16-year-old who was killed and an 8-year-old boy who suffered leg fractures and life-threatening internal injuries. Four other passengers were injured and so was the driver, 70-year-old James Kochis, of Port Orchard, Wash.

U.S. Highway 26/89/191 was closed for more than two hours following the crash.
