Ghosts games rescheduled

Because Thursday's and Friday's Casper Ghosts games with the Billings Mustangs were rained out, the team will play two doubleheaders this weekend

Today, the make-up game from Thursday will begin at the top of the second inning at noon and go nine innings, followed by the Pops in the Park Concert at 5 p.m. The second game will begin at 7:05 p.m., and will be a seven-inning game. Fireworks will follow the second game.

"We're going to get here at 6 a.m. (today) and be here until we're done," Casper Ghosts General Manager Matt Warneke said Friday. "Right now our biggest concern is getting everything set up for the Pops in the Park, because if the weather's OK the baseball games will take care of themselves. And the fireworks guy will be all set up and ready to go."

In addition to the regular Ghosts staff, there will be at least 20 volunteers helping get the stage set up for Pops in the Park as soon as the first game is completed, Warneke said.

Sunday, the make-up game for Friday will begin at 3 p.m., followed by the regularly scheduled game at 5:05 p.m.

For more information, call the Ghosts office at (307) 232-1111.
