" way to report it in a timely manner. Seriously, 10 days? She could be in a ditch somewhere and the scent gone days ago. Or walking her ass to california, she'd be there by now. Way to be on top of it and show your kid you care, now she definitely won't come back on her own, knowing you couldn't care less about her for a week and a half. children missing apparently isn't a big thing in this town. "

" Momma- don't blame the town for missing children- you're way off base there. You would be surprised at how many of these kids are repeat offenders and constantly "run away" from home only to come back a few days later. It's a mindset of the children as well- they want to be all grown up and don't realize the dangers and evil people out there that will take advantage of them. It's a mindset that all teens go through - "they aren't me...I won't make those mistakes...I know what I am doing..."- the list goes on and on. "

" Not to defend the Casper Star Tribune, but its ability to report this was probably determined by what time the police released this information. I know in my hometown paper the police did not release information about a runaway teen until 15 days after she was reported missing by her parents. "

" To Momma, How dare you judge this girl's mother! You sound like a cruel, cruel person!!!! I bet you don't have children, and if you do, heaven help them!!! "

" I cant even imagine how stressful this would be if it was my child...Imagine how this girls parents feel? Its stressful enough why do people on here add more negative energy to an already painful situation. Casper Star Tribune, Thanks for all you are doing in order to help this family out in such a time of crisis. "
